Shining Our Light on Kimbritive, the Sexual Wellness Home for Black Women.

In honor of Black History Month, we want to take a moment to highlight an organization that is doing incredible work to advance sexual health and pleasure amongst the Black community. Kimberly Huggins and Brittany Brathwaite, co-founders of Kimbritive, are on a mission to change the stigma around sex that so many Black girls grow up with. Their ultimate goal is to provide resources and education to Black women and girls so they can achieve sexual liberation and live their best lives with power over their own bodies, relationships, and sexuality.

What is Kimbritive?

Kimbritive is the sexual wellness home for Black women providing content, community, and expert care where we are seen, heard, and celebrated.

Kimbritive’s core values are. 

1. Truth: when someone is with Kimbritive, they can expect to receive the whole truth and no subjects are considered off-limits. 
2. Access: Everyone, especially Black women and girls, deserve access to resources and education so they can make informed decisions about their own lives. 
3. A commitment to shift the narrative in the media around Black women and girls’ sexualities, giving them agency to tell their own stories.
4. Liberation: Kimbritive purports that everyone deserves to live in a world where they can lead empowered lives, free from coercion.
